Asian Development Bank Review Mission for the PRIME STeP 2025

Today, the Asian Development Bank Review Mission for the PRIME STeP 2025 Program was successfully executed.

PRIME STeP (Promoting Research and Innovation through Modern and Efficient Science and Technology Parks) is an ADB-funded initiative to modernize Indonesia’s university-based techno parks, strengthen campus–industry linkages, and accelerate R&D commercialization through two main schemes (Innovation Development and Research Development) over a three-year horizon.
The 2025 Review Mission will:
1. Verify completion and functionality of Phase 1 infrastructure (labs, pilot units, incubation spaces).
2. Assess outcomes of capacity-building activities (IP management, tech-transfer workshops, start-up acceleration).
3. Inspect prototype demonstrations and early commercial partnerships.
4. Agree on Phase 2 priorities (deep-tech scale-up, green agri-innovations, IP strategy enhancements).
5. Plan tranche disbursement conditions and set KPIs for the next mission cycle.
