Our Activity in IFMAC & WOODMAC 2025 at JIExpo Kemayoran

Our Head of Research, Dr. Istie Sekartining Rahayu, S.Hut, M.Si, who also serves as the Head of the Forest Products Department at IPB University’s Faculty of Forestry and Environment, has been invited as a speaker at the IFMAC & WOODMAC 2025 event. The IFMAC (International Furniture Manufacturing Components) and WOODMAC (Woodworking Machinery) exhibitions will be held on September 24-27, 2025, at the Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo) Kemayoran. This event is regarded as the largest and most comprehensive exhibition in Indonesia, showcasing the latest advancements in technology, machinery, materials, and components for the furniture and wood industries. This event is of particular significance to the international furniture and woodworking industries.

This year, IFMAC & WOODMAC 2025 will be presented in a “3-in-1 Mega Show” format, in collaboration with interzum jakarta, which focuses on materials and interior design, and the International Hardware Fair Indonesia (IHFI), which showcases modern hardware and tools. The exhibition will span an area of over 17,000 square meters in Hall B3 and C3 of JIExpo, showcasing over 350 exhibitors from 20 countries. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore a range of innovations, including high-tech woodworking machines such as CNC and laser cutting, environmentally friendly materials for modern furniture production, and furniture components such as hinges, drawer rails, and the latest accessories. In addition, the exhibition will feature seminar sessions, business matching, and discussion forums that bring together industry leaders and global experts.

Indonesia is a major player in the Asian furniture production industry, with a consistently expanding export sector. The presence of IFMAC & WOODMAC 2025 is a significant development that will strengthen Indonesia’s position in the global supply chain, while creating opportunities for investment and international collaboration. Themed “Where Trends, Innovation, and Business Meet,” this exhibition is poised to catalyze the transformation of the furniture and wood industry towards a more modern, sustainable, and competitive direction.
